Remove the Barrier.
Realize Your Dream.
Sometimes, it’s just one small factor standing between you and your breakthrough.
The Factor helps visionaries like you remove obstacles, so you can change the world.
Your Story Can Change the World.
Great stories deserve to be lived. Yet, even the best visionaries hit roadblocks—whether it’s funding, strategy, or access to the right resources. That’s where we come in.
At The Factor, we remove the hurdles so you can focus on what matters most: making your dream a reality.
Tell us about your idea and the obstacle that’s standing in your way.
Without the right support, world-changing stories can go unnoticed. But you don’t have to walk this path alone. Together, we’ll break through the barrier and leave your mark on the world.
Meet the Founder
Johan Martinez-Khalilian
My father, an immigrant from Iran, and my mother, from Puerto Rico, worked tirelessly to provide for me as a kid. Their sacrifices taught me the value of perseverance and hard work.
But when I reached college, their resources could only cover my first year of tuition. I considered dropping out and settling for something more “reasonable.” That’s when a friend told me about an extraordinary opportunity that would change my life forever.
She introduced me to a married couple with a heart and vision for helping others. Years earlier, they had supported her by paying for her college tuition. Now, they were looking for someone new to support. Encouraged by my friend, I wrote them a letter, sharing my story.
I’ll never forget their response: they were willing to be the x-factor in my college education—on the condition that I maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher. I accepted, and with their support, I not only stayed in school but graduated with honors.
Their generosity transformed the trajectory of my life. They didn’t have to help me, but their choice to do so made an immeasurable impact.
This experience is the heart and soul behind The Factor. My vision is to create an avenue for people to achieve what might otherwise feel impossible, thanks to the support of someone who believes in them. Because at some point, we all have the opportunity to be the x-factor in someone else’s life.
